Hair Extension
At Hair Mosaics Salon, we begin with an in-person consultation. Our consultation fee is $25, which will be applied toward your extension install if you choose to move forward with the service and purchase hair through us. Our extension artists will educate you on our company’s extension methods of installation, pricing, and proper maintenance for the extensions. All of our extension services are customized to each guest’s needs and are priced per consultation depending on the length, amount of hair we are adding, the method of installation and overall desired look. Therefore, we will not be able to give an estimated price without an in-person consultation.
K-Tips
K-tip extensions are installed using a heating element which safely melts the keratin bond on to your own hair. They have 360 mobility and are the most customizable for color.
Guests will enjoy 12 to 16 weeks of wear per installation, depending on the growth of natural hair. Hair is not reusable and must be purchased for every reinstall.
Wefts
Machine wefts are ideal for coarse or thicker hair — no tape, glue or heat are needed. We apply the wefts to a beaded foundation using a looping tool and thread.
Hand-tied wefts and infinity wefts are ideal for medium and fine hair. They are lightweight and stackable to create density and dimension. Guests will enjoy 8 to 10 weeks of wear before maintenance is required. Hair is reusable for 6-9 months.
Tape-In
Tape-in extensions have a medical grade adhesive to create a secure and comfortable flat attachment area. Single sided tapes are best for fine hair, while double sided tapes are best for medium to coarse hair. Guests will enjoy 6 to 8 weeks of wear before maintenance is required. Hair is reusable for 6-9 months.
